About 

Francine Delgado is a Costa Rican-born, Canadian artist, Art Director, Character Designer, Sequential Artist, and Cover Artist with over a decade of experience in the animation and entertainment industries. Her creative journey has led her to contribute to high-profile projects across film, television, and comics.

As an Art Director, Francine has spearheaded visual development for major feature and TV series, working on projects for Disney and Mattel (Barbie). She’s been instrumental in designing characters for animated hits like The Addams Family, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Monster High and Blaze and the Monster Machines among others.

Her work in comics includes cover art and sequential storytelling for titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW), Gatchaman and Flash Gordon (Mad Cave), and Legendary: Black Widow (Marvel Upper Deck), as well as contributions to various graphic novels and collectibles.

Beyond her professional work, Francine is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She has shared her expertise through teaching roles at Vancouver Film School and Universidad Creativa, and has spoken at industry events like Vancouver Animation School's 2023 conference.
